To Late

*As I fumbled to fly with out Hiccup I scoured the landscape searching for him. Alvin had knocked him from my back, I only saw a glimpse of Hiccup as he plummeted into the dark clouds. A cry of agony caught my attention southward... Alvin was gone, but Hiccup lay mangled beside Endeavour broken in two. Blood stained snow pooled around Hiccup's patch of earth, his breath slow and uneasy. I was to late to save him... The deep gashes of the Storm Blade bled crimson red mostly on his back and shoulders.
"Toothless"
He called out to me in an weak broken voice.
"Finish the mission.."
I crawled over and nudged Hiccups lifeless head with my snout.*

Garr this was my first go at rain so I basically failed, whatever.
